The NOWA series was designed according to the latest trends and usability needs functioning on the market of terminal blocks mounted on a TS 35 rail. The series has many innovative solutions that make them easier to use in installation works. The series includes terminal blocks of cross-connections from 2.5 to 120 mm2. They are used in switching stations, cable connections, switching boxes, control cabinets and electrical devices.
The main features concerning the usability that provide its high quality are:
- a modern screw clamp – we combined steel and galvanized copper - so that high pressure can be applied and a cable is more stable. A slightly springing back upper part of the clamp protects against unsoldering of the connector.
- cross screws used in clamps of connectors from the range of 2.5 to 10 mm2 . They give a possibility to tighten the screw mechanically or manually. In the connectors of 16 to 120 mm2 range a hex screw is used, as it makes it possible to use higher tightening torques of the conductors.
- current paths - made of brass, coated with a galvanic film. They give optimum conditions for a joint with a minimum voltage drop and an anti-corrosive protection.
- a body made of polyamide PA66. It has high quality electrical and mechanical properties. It has very good fire resistance and is a halogen free material of V0 class. Its operating temperature is -25 to +125 °C.
small dimensions - the new construction is designed to save the room in the mounting site. The size of these terminal blocks in their class is unusually small.
The main advantage of the new series of rail-mounted terminals is the possibility to use supplementary accessories, like the latest generation cross-connections (bridges):
- a screwable cross-connection - makes it possible to connect the current paths of rail-mounted terminals easily and firmly. Its construction, integrated with an isolating element, results in a quick and safe assembly.
- a pluggable cross-connection – the latest generation cross-connection that is very quick and convenient to use. All you need is to press it into the current path, without any tools. The novelty of this type is the possibility to use bridges alternately, where you can bridge any number of joints by a 2-pole cross-connection, for example.
