Great Performance

I bought this device around 6 months ago. For the low ceiling height I expected much less coverage. However, it shows good results and at medium PIR sensitivity too. Configuration is as easy as any KNX device could be. Although, I preferred Siemens when it comes to object names. The flat surface lens gives a clean look on the false ceiling. The product feels rather flimsy to hold. The mounting springs felt they would snap anytime. The spring tension is strong and it will hold on to the ceiling firmly. However, the spring levers are, as mentioned, flimsy. It was installed in one go. I suppose removing and reinstalling again might detach the springs, if not done by professional. The device is very light, so it will have no problem even on thin ceiling panels. The flat sensing surface and the lens captures motion in the vicinity easily. I have had some sensors before that failed to capture minor motions like but this one did pretty good job. Above the false ceiling the temperature rises above 30 degree Celsius. I have to observe over a year, if this is effecting the performance. So far, no problem.
I would recommend this, from my experience so far for indoor use. I am planning to consider this product on a commercial building, if price is a sensitive issue, which will always be.
